![]() ![]() I'm wondering if I shouldn't just switch to Ableton, but I just don't want to I tried to go completely DAWless, which was fun, but has its own downsides. I'd love to hear others who are successfully performing using FL Studio, how they do it. Only when performance mode is deactivated which limits you to playback of 1 pattern at a time or just follow the playlist. There is no room for live improvisation or actual perform and loop. This means, to 'live' perform, you have to pre-program all your sequences and sounds. I don't know why, but for some reasong while performance mode is activated, you cannot record any midi. This is a lot of work though.ĭoes anyone have any good ideas to do this?Ģ) Live recording of midi in performance mode is not possible The only way to work around this is to use midi to change the mixer state manually. I can imagine this is very hard to program though, but imagine the possibilities! It would be so nice if it was possible to save/load multiple complete mixer states within 1 project and switch between them on the fly. ![]() The only thing that is still a challenge is the mixer in FL Studio: I mix in FL Studio and use a lot of plugins. ![]() Now I got a Deluge which is able to switch to the next song and send program changes to all my synths seamlessly, so I do all my sequencing on that. Haven't actually tested this throughly, but I guess it is not really a good solution anyway. My audio interface does support multi instances though (RME Digiface USB), which is great. I tried opening FL Studio twice, so I can load the next song during playback of the current song, but then only 1 instance has access to all midi controllers (which are essential in a live performance). #MIXTRACK PRO ON DECKADANCE 2 HOW TO#There are still a few things I'm not sure how to deal with, the main things are:ġ) Switching to the next song seamlessly. I'm trying to do this for a few years now after I've been using FL Studio for years for regular music production. I'd love to hear how others use FL Studio in a live performance. Which is a word I wanna use more in association with FL Studio, don't you? And that feature is pretty far along from what I've seen, there were a few kinks to iron out when I last tested it but it's definitely a must have for 20.7. #MIXTRACK PRO ON DECKADANCE 2 DRIVER#Serato dj pro pioneer sx2 driver download mac download. FL Studio 11.1 OR FL Studio 12.3 for control feedback. Open FL Studio on your computer plus IL Remote on your mobile device and the connection is automatic. IL Remote does not make sound, it controls FL Studio and Deckadance just like a MIDI controller does. ![]()
